About Me

Hi! It’s your friendly neighborhood Matt here, an Information Science PhD student at Drexel University in Philadelphia. I design conversational user interfaces (CUIs) that foster meaningful, trusting interactions between humans and AI. My research focuses on how we can use CUIs to support reflection, connection, and mental wellbeing—making everyday interactions with AI more human-centered and genuinely helpful.

If you’re as curious about the future of AI, mental health, and meaningful communication as I am, let’s talk—there’s always more to explore together!

Wishlist

If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “How can I brighten Matt’s day?”—look no further! I’ve put together a wishlist for anyone curious about what might add a little extra joy to my life. It’s a humble collection of things I’d totally love but could probably survive without (or… could I?). Feel free to take a peek, have a chuckle at my taste, and if you’re in the giving spirit, maybe help a guy out!
